Salmon, Turquoise, White, and Gold

I'm linking my post to Friday Pretties over to Joyce at iloveprettylittlethings. Do check out her fab blog and pretty friday links.

So, I've narrowed down the colors I want for my wedding. When S1 got married, I commissioned my friend to make her wedding cord as my gift. It was gorgeous. We had in mind that it would be passed on to future weddings in the family. Our generation, and the next ones would make it an heirloom piece. Choosing the colors for the Swarovski crystals was the hardest part. The piece had to be neutral and the colors, classic. The design had to be resilient and full of history for the future generations to appreciate. I had in mind to put lockets all around it that would include photos of the marriages of our ancestors (both maternal and paternal) and a portion to include ours (4sisters) and stocked on several lockets for the succeeding generations. This is how it turned out.

Isn't it gorgeous? =) We all swooned when we got it a few days before my sisters wedding and us 3 remaining sisters are all very excited to use it.

Now for my wedding colors...

I found a few links on various websites that actually gave me a visual representation of the colors.
